Button Wedding

I stamped a bit last night and this morning and here's what I came up with to show off Button Buddies.  I really am going to miss this set.   Well, miss using it in classes.  It's staying on my shelf for sure.   Those piggies are just too cute.  This card was inspired by the current catalog and a sample I saw in there.   I'ts a great place for inspiration!    Be sure you order this set before it's gone for good.  It's a great one!

Stamps:  Button Buddies, Sweet Essentials
Ink:  Basic Gray, Pretty in Pink
Paper:  Basic Gray, Pretty in Pink, Subtles DSP stack
Accessories:  Subtles and Neutrals buttons, Basic Pearls

Simple, Elegant Cake

I thought this was a fun sketch at clean&simple stamping this week.  I have really been enjoying the more simple challenges as they are way more challenging in a way.   For this one, I had the perfect stamp that had yet to see ink.   I won a gift certificate to a non-SU company last year in the Dare to Get Dirty challenges on Splitcoast and picked a cake stamp as one of my freebies!  Perfect, right?!  If you wanted to do this one with only Stampin' Up! products, the cake stamp from Love & Laughter would work great!

I stuck with the sketch and just added a bit of embossing to up the elegance factor.   The sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes was perfect, as was the Fancy Fan embossing folder.  All elegant wedding cards need pearls too.  :)

Sometimes it is difficult to stamp when someone is distracting me with their cuteness.  :)

CCREW0611HF: Holiday/Seasonal Focus: *Love Birds* It wouldn't be right to have June, weddings, flowers, etc without the birds! Use the Two Love Birds decor for inspiration.   This was my favorite of our four challenges and I had a blast designing my card.   What do you think?

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Tiny Tags
Ink: Basic Black, Versamark
Paper: Basic Black, Bashful Blue, Shimmery White
Tools: Bird Punch, Full Heart Punch, Modern Label Punch, Framed Tulips embossing folder, Heat Tool, Owl Punch (for small heart)
Accessories: Bashful Blue brads, black embossing powder

CCREW0611SF - SB Inspiration Focus: *Scrapbooking Poems * This month's mission was to incorporate a poem into a scrapbooking project. I love these pictures of my silly boy and thought the poem was perfect for them.
