I think I promised to show the first card I made with this sketch last week and of course I forgot. I'm going to blame that one on Laila and the pollen. :) I'm starting to think that I'll never wake up without congestion and/or a headache ever again. Thank goodness there's that generic Tylenol Sinus at Target. I'm not sure why we can't find the real stuff, but the knock-off seems to work okay for now.
Here's the mess. I'm not sure why I didn't end up liking it, maybe too much of striped dsp? Or too many bright colors? The more I looked at it, the more I wanted to hide it. :) Maybe someone will enjoy it, we'll see.
I think it's pretty---nice & bright! I am sharing two cards tomorrow on my blog and I don't really care for either one of them, LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteHope that sinus thing gets better...I am fighting a good old-fashioned COLD right now!
I think it's cute! A perfect kid card! I wish my rejects turned out so nicely... ;-)
ReplyDeleteI think the sinus pain and pressure has many of us not liking our own work. But you can be assured that you made another great card! So bright, cheery and fun! TFS!
ReplyDeleteI really like it!! It's very cute and as Marla said, a perfect kid card. I think it turned out great!!
ReplyDeleteLooks a fun card to me. x
ReplyDeleteI've always adored the Always bird stamp set...love how you paired it with the Happy Anniversary phrase. Nice twine too, love the colors!
ReplyDeleteHappy little kites and a pretty ribbon? Love it! It's definitely an uplifting and happy card :)
