Deck the Carrots?

Hi all! Can you believe it's December? Wow. I am not in a holiday mood at all, but I'm trying. The weather did get a bit chilly here last week which helps. :) Anyway, I had purchased this cute House Mouse stamp a while back and hadn't inked it up yet. I thought it would be fun color. I wanted to enter it in the House Mouse & Friends Monday challenge. I did the optional sparkle on my carrots with Wink of Stella, but as usual, Stella is camera shy. :)

I hope you are doing well. We are still in the "finding the right medication" and therapy stage here. Parenting is hard man. I feel like we've been in this stage for years. We have a good psychiatrist this time, so fingers crossed. I'm trying not to let all our troubles ruin the holidays, but man. Holidays, plus homeschooling, but constant battles... I'm tired. Thank goodness for creative time. I also started volunteering in the butterfly garden at our arboretum. Weeding is great therapy, too.

Take care and be sure not to overwhelm yourself with the holiday planning.

  1. Oh what beautiful coloring! I love the polka dot paper to frame the image. Thanks for sharing at HMFMC. xx

  2. The hoppers are using carrots to decorate their Christmas tree, what else, right!
What a fun holiday card, and color up beautifully. Thanks for sharing your card with us at the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge.

  3. Super cute card Rita :-) I love these little bunnies decorating their tree with carrots, absolutely adorable! Fabulous coloring and as for the sparkle, its always difficult to capture in a photo, am sure it looks even more fabulous in real life!
It sounds like you are pretty busy and have your hands full at the mo', take care and be sure to make time for crafting, always good for the soul ;-) XX

Thanks for joining us on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge
    Lols x x x

  4. This Bunny knows carrots, too. I have a tree full. Okay just kidding but your card is adorable. That Stella really is elusive. We all have trouble with her. Thanks for joining us at House Mouse and Friends Monday challenge. {Bunny} Designer for House Mouse and Friends

p.s.- It's okay to say parenting is hard. There are days when everyone feels like throwing the baby out with the bath water. Scream into a pillow. And then start the day over again. Even if it starts again at noon. Sigh......we do what we have too. Praying for you. Here's a hug too. Safe long distance germ free hug.

I love comments! Thanks so much for stopping by to say hello. :)
