Mojo Monday!

Challenges are a great way to get ideas and inspiration for your stamping projects.  This is my project for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge.    I received this stunning Woodland Walk designer paper on my last order and really wanted to use it on a project today.   Chocolate Chip and Wild Wasabi are both colors from the paper and the Color Coach showed me that they would pair well with Pretty In Pink.    What do you think?

Remember, tomorrow is the last day to order Watercolor Trio.   It is by far my favorite stamp set, so if you don't have it, consider getting it before it is too late.

Stamps:  Watercolor Trio
Paper:   Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Woodland Walk DSP, Very Vanilla
Ink:  Pretty in Pink, Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip
Tools:  Scallop Circle Punch, 1 1/4 circle punch, 1 3//8 circle punch

September Class

These adorable lunch box notes are a fun and easy way to send a little love note in your child's lunch or backpack to brighten their day and let them know you are thinking about them.

In this class, you will make 10 assorted cards and receive envelopes to go with them. If you haven't stamped before, this is a great class to get started! All supplies will be provided, but if you prefer an adhesive other than glue sticks, please bring it with you. Cost is $10 and includes light refreshments and a fun mom's night out. :) Please RSVP and submit payment at least 3 days before the event and specify boy/girl/neutral so I know the perfect cards to plan for you.

If you can't make the class but would like to purchase a set of completed cards, please contact me.

My Swaps are FINISHED!

I spent most of my week finishing up my swaps for the regional next month.   I think they turned out great and I REALLY hope everyone will like them.   I ended up with 27 of them after I put it all together.    I have another new Christmas set I'd love to make some cards with as well, but I'm probably going to run out of time.   It's less than 2 weeks until the conference and I am so excited!    It will be my first Stampin' Up! event and I know it is going to be a BLAST!

Stamps:  Holiday Happiness

Wicked!

After finishing making 27 Christmas cards yesterday, I was ready for a change today.     I pulled out my new Wicked Fun designer paper and hit SplitcoastStampers for a sketch.    I even went out all and did a little distressing on this one; shocking I know!    I can't wait to use some of the other papers in this pack; they are all so fun and well, WICKED!    :)

Stamps:  Wicked Cool
Paper:  Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Black, and Wicked Fun DSP
Ink:  Basic Black
Accessories:  Rich Razzleberry brads
Tools:  Cutter Kit, Mat Pack, Paper Piercer

Here'a picture of all the great designer paper that is included in the Wicked Fun paper pack.   The Rich Razzleberry with the bats and the Cajun Craze with the circles are both flocked, which will give even more dimension to your projects!

New Goodies!

I received a new box of goodies last week and here's the first card I made with some of them.   I didn't have the 3/4" circle punch, but we were asked to bring it to the fall regional, so on my order it went.    I decided to play around with it and here's what I came up with.    I used the Color Coach to get my color matches and started punching away.    Easy card, but cute for a kid's birthday card I think.   I LOVE the in-color ribbon!

Stamps:  Upsy Daisy, Fox & Friends
Paper:  Pear Pizzazz, Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise
Ink:  Tempting Turquoise, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories:  Pear Pizzazz ribbon, circle punch

Oh yeah, I went there...

I know it is WAY too early for Christmas, but I got this new paper in and I just had to play with it.    I'm trying to make some cards to swap at regionals, but I have no idea if this one would be okay or if I should try something else.   If any experienced demos have any advice, I'd love to hear it.   :)

This is a new Christmas set called Holiday Happiness.   I loved the look of it, so I put it on my first order.  It is so different from the other holiday stamps and I like it.    It works great with the Jolly Holiday designer paper; Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler are perfect for the tree and ornaments!

Finally, some new cards to show off!

Finally, the last two cards to my upcoming birthday class are designed and ready for cutting!    I LOVE the July Fourth stamp set in the mini catalog; it makes excellent birthday cards!   I used the Color Coach to get a color combination using my favorite, Tempting Turquoise.
Here's the other card that finishes out the class.   I love my new owl punch!   Again, I consulted the Color Coach for some help.   I don't have Early Espresso, but I think Chocolate Chip works as a substitute for now.

Here are all 5 cards together.  I love them and I hope my attendees do as well.   I still have spots available if you'd like to join in the fun on the 20th!

On my last order, I bought some of the Stampin' Up! watercolor paper and OH MY!    I had purchased the aqua painters years ago and never really got results with them.   I didn't realize how much of a difference GOOD watercolor paper would make!   Now I LOVE my aqua painter; watercoloring using it and the markers is so fun!   It adds a whole new look to this timeless stamp set!    I also tried out a new card design on this one.  It is a joy fold card and it was so easy, but looks so neat!

I am super excited because this time next month, I'll be attending the Stampin' Up! regional conference in Ft. Worth.   I can't wait to go!    I am loving all the wonderful perks of being a demonstrator.  Don't you want to join in the fun??
