Just for Fun

Believe it or not, I actually just stamped for fun today!  No design teams, no club cards, just FUN!   It was so nice to get to do that.   I feel like I'm always rushing around behind on things so I probably should have worked  ahead!   I think sometimes we just need to let ourselves do something that's not on our to-do list though.   I found this tutorial online and decided to try my hand at it.  Here's my first card:
I really enjoyed making it and think that technique is a great way to use up some of the designer paper I've been hoarding saving.  In fact, I had so much fun that I made a second one!
My friend Jen Timko made a gorgeous flower from tissue paper on her Freshly Made Sketches card this week and as I was working on this, I caught a glimpse of some of that paper sitting on the shelf beside my desk.  Perfect, right?!  :)

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!    I went and enjoyed some time with friends and puppies after I finished stamping and am now waiting on my Jason to get home from work...with a hamburger for me and Laila!  :)

Stay tuned tomorrow for the list of stamps that will be retiring!
