I am terrified of 3-D or altered items. I get very overwhelmed looking at the finished items and automatically say I can't do that. This week I decided to tackle that fear and make something. I picked one that was probably too difficult to start off, but I did complete it. I used some retired/retiring paper and I think it turned out okay. I learned so much while making it and that's the most important part!
For everyone that asked,
here is the tutorial I used. I found one I liked better, but of course I can't find it now. Go figure! You can also Google scrapbook explosion box and pull up tons of them.
love this I have a couple of girls wanting to make one. may just have to case yours. follow me www.papercreationsbykaren.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. 3-d items tend to scare me. You did a great job and I love that paper.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute box! I'm feeling more like a klutz now than before, though....

You did a great job with this. I actually love 3d items but I have been afraid to tackle one of these yet. Your braveness gives me courage. Some day.
ReplyDeleteWOw! This turned out awesome! I'm not even brave enough to try this out. I'd probably throw it out the window half way through ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is Fabulous! I want to make one now. Do you have a tutorial for it? I don't do a lot of 3-D projects, but this would be a great gift idea.
ReplyDeleteTFS!
Great job. I've been wanting to try an explosion box. Great motivation for me.
ReplyDeleteHi Rita! I love your explosion box. I've always wanted to make one but just haven't committed to it.
