PP99 with Card Patterns 169

I found a bit of time to stamp today.  Honestly, it's too hot to do much else!   I broke a sweat just adding a bit of sponging to my card.    I saw this really cool sketch over at Card Patterns and decided to combine it with Lesley's awesome color challenge at The Paper Players.
I'm still not sure about this one.   This stamp set is most definitely a challenge for me!    I'm not a two-step stamping kind of girl.    Now why I keep buying some of those I don't know.   Silly me!   I love the colors and love the sketch, so maybe I'll try them again with one of my favorite stamp sets.  :)

Stamps:   Reason to Smile (July Promotional set), Petite Pairs
Ink:  Basic Gray, Lucky Limeade, Melon Mambo
Paper:  Basic Gray, Lucky Limeade, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Neutrals DSP stack, Cheerful Treat DSP (retired)
Tools/Accessories:  Big Shot, Scallop Circle #2 die (retired), 3-inch circle die, Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine, In Color Designer Printed Brads, Neutrals buttons, sponges

  2. LOVE this sketch and you've done a fantastic job with the stamp set, Rita! Love how you positioned the flowers to leave enough room for the sentiment. The background stamping on the banner adds so much and the loopy bow is so much fun! So glad you joined us at The Paper Players!

  3. Love this one Rita. Gorgeous colours, which probably match your lovely hot weather (rather cold in Australia right now).

  7. Rita, you rocked this stamp set! I would never have thought to do the repetition of the flower in the circle, but it works beautifully. Fabulous job. Oh, and I agree, escaping to the cool of my stamp room when it's really hot - priceless!
so glad you were able to join the Paper Players this week
