Stampin' Up! Tag It

Today I wanted to share one of my scrapbook pages I made for the Convention displays.  When I started off as a paper crafter, I started doing my wedding album and my intent was to ONLY do that.   Well, 8 years and who knows how much money later, I'm still going.  lol   I actually don't like scrapbooking now though.  I feel like my pages are very unpolished and kinda ugly, so I tend to avoid it as much as possible.  This page is okay, but still doesn't have a polished, professional look to me.   Maybe I should practice more...   The picture is cute at least.  ;)

  2. Like you, Rita, I started out with scrapbooking. I did several albums with my family genealogy and then made scrapbooks for our son's three boys (birth to graduation) and still have two other grandchildren to finish up yet. Problem is - I'd so much rather spend that time making cards! I follow your blog all the time and love your creations! I think that page is really neat! You are too hard on yourself. Laila is so cute, but growing up way too quickly!

  3. Linda I agree you shouldn't put that negative spin on your scrapbooking skills. Wow, this page is amazing. How many Santa suit pages are out there? I like your style!

  4. Girl, please, if this page is unpolished and ugly then there is absolutely no hope for me as a scrapper. I love this page! Look: the eye takes in everything Santa without any prompting. It's there and it's cleverly done. But the adorable photo of Laila and Santa takes center stage. Everything around it is in balance. The colors are upbeat and harmonious as are all of the coordinating elements. I want to have YOUR eye and creative flair!
